Festival Place in Basingstoke will lend its support to the Baton of Hope event on Thursday, September 25. Basingstoke was chosen as one of 20 across the UK to host the Baton of Hope tour. Marie Greenhalgh, relationships director for Inclusion Education and project lead for Baton of Hope Basingstoke, said: "The Baton of Hope is all about challenging the stigma that surrounds suicide and mental health. "That is why we were delighted that we won the right to host The Baton of Hope in Basingstoke. Festival Place will host the baton parade along with other places such as The Orchard and the Canal.
