Ojak Consultancy Limited, which is now trading as Certax Accounting Basingstoke, provides expert advice and assistance for accountancy and tax.
The business, owned by Olusegun Kazim, has been named on a list published by His Majesty's Revenue and Customs for promoting a scheme called B2BTradecard Limited.
The government department says that five accounting firms, including Ojak Consultancy Limited, benefitted from steering clients towards the scheme as they 'received fees for successful referrals'.
Jonathan Smith, Director of Counter Avoidance at HMRC, said: "Promoting tax avoidance is unacceptable.
He said that staff at Ojak Consultancy Limited tried to call HMRC to verify B2B Tradecard's claims 'but were unsuccessful'.
