Exit 6 Film Festival celebrated its 10-year anniversary on Saturday, September 20, with a packed programme of short films, live filmmaker Q&As, and an awards party. Popular film characters, including Marty McFly and Dr Brown from Back to the Future, popped up in the town's shopping centre, Festival Place, for an out-of-this-world event. Tom Scarborough, from Love Basingstoke, explained: "Exit 6, an international short film festival, is being held in Vue. The festival saw 43 short films screen throughout the day, from comedies and dramas to love stories, animation and documentaries. Inside Festival Place were cosplayers from Mando Mercs and the 501st Legion, in character as a Mandalorian and Bo Katan from Star Wars.
