Care home celebrates 'Good' rating after negative inspection

Coombe End Court in Marlborough received the rating following an inspection in May 2025, which marks a turnaround from its previous 'Requires Improvement' rating in February 2022.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) praised the home for its improvements and identified no areas requiring improvement.
Hannah Mason, home manager and peripatetic operations manager, said: "I’m so proud of the whole team at Coombe End Court for achieving a good outcome in our recent Care Quality Commission inspection.
Ms Mason, who has supported Coombe End Court since the end of February 2025, introduced action plans and training initiatives and adopted a transparent management style.
The CQC concluded that Coombe End Court now delivers safe and high-quality care, and expressed confidence in its leadership and robust action plans.
