NHS Property Services has lodged an application with Wiltshire Council to create a new car parking facility at the Chippenham Community Hospital site on Rowden Hill.
The proposal is in response to ongoing issues with parking at the hospital which has led to some patients being late for or even missing their appointments.
If approved, the parking plans would create another 22 spaces, including two electric vehicle charging bays, two accessible bays, and five parent and child bays.
