British Transport Police officers were called to Chippenham Railway Station shortly before 9pm on Friday, September 19, after concerns were raised about a man “acting aggressively” on the platform. Police swarmed the platform and arrested one man on suspicion of drunk and disorderly behaviour, before leaving the scene. A spokesperson added: “Officers were called to Chippenham Railway Station at around 8.45pm on Friday (September 19) following reports of a man acting aggressively on the platform. “Officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of drunk and disorderly behaviour.”
