The blackout has affected one of Thames Water’s pumping stations, leaving customers in Royal Wootton Bassett with a disrupted water supply.
Thames Water says it has taken steps to provide an alternative power supply so that it can distribute water to people’s homes as normal.
A spokesperson said: “We’re sorry if you’re experiencing problems with your water supply.
“We’re arranging an alternative power supply and working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.
“We know how disruptive it is if you lose your water supply, and we’ll work hard to restore your supply as soon as possible.”
