Mellott - Christina Marie (Worthington) Pickett, 44, Mellott, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 7:55 p.m. Christina was born in Danville, Illinois on January 16, 1981. She was the daughter of the late Shirley Ann Andrews. Christina was raised in Danville, graduating from Danville High School. Christina later moved to Veedersburg and has resided in Mellott for the past four years. Christina formerly worked as an over-the-road truck driver and more recently as a waitress at Crossroads Restaurant in Attica until she became disabled. While she was able, Christina enjoyed fishing and enjoyed the outdoors, working in her flower garden. She liked to travel and just recently enjoyed a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. She also enjoyed decorating finger nails and being with her family. On June 23, 2013 Christina married Robert "Brian" Pickett in Danville, IL. She leaves behind her husband, Brian of 12 years along with nine children, Alyssa Pickett, Billings, MT; Brandie Walz, Mellott; Zachary Pickett, Mellott; Keely Glines; Alexis Gillenwater; Brett Hoopingarner; Robert Pickett Jr.; Serenity Pickett and Aleasha French; five grandchildren, Xyla, Kharyzma, Braxton, Milah and Xander a sister, Katherine Worthington, Chicago, IL; three brothers, James Jennings, Westville, IL; John Dishman and Sean Worthington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Andrews; two sons, Caleb & Austin Walz; a sister, Terry Bell and a brother, Stuart Worthington.
