Henderson, Tennessee — (Aug. 12, 2025) — The Freed-Hardeman University Theatre Program kicks off the 2025-26 season with a fresh and dynamic take on Oliver Goldsmith’s 18th century comedy “She Stoops to Conquer,” directed by Nate Cass, an FHU alumnus. The production will run Thursday, Aug. 21, through Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, in the Black Box Theatre. Set in a world of opposing values, mistaken identities and sharply dressed contradictions, “She Stoops to Conquer” explores what happens when love, class and confidence collide. Members of the cast include Drew Bramblett, Jordan Deck, Collett Heenan, Mariah Kerr, Luke Noles, Cathy D. Powell, Kevin Record, Olivia Semore, Charlie Stone, MK Stone and Seth Wilson. With locations in Henderson and Memphis, FHU offers associate, bachelor’s, master’s, specialist and doctoral degrees.
