They said all of those things to me too. They had the whole board there. I would not budge. It has its benefits and its downfalls but I felt like he needed the extra year. Remember this is your child's path and you know what is best for them. In 3 or 6 years when you're no longer at that school, you will have done what is right for your son to set him up for success.. Stay strong!
