That wasn’t quite the case at the opening night of Belvoir St Theatre’s production of Orlando.
The fantastic tale follows the adventures of a poet, Orlando, who lives for centuries, changing gender and taking on new identities across the ages.
Orlando: four eras, four OrlandosIn this adaptation, we encounter the titular character across four distinct epochs, played in each period by a different actor.
