Swiss-based Hero Group has acquired a majority stake in snack company Super Saúde Nutricional through its Brazilian subsidiary, Hero Brazil. Waldemiro Pinati, the founder of Super Saúde Nutricional, will continue as CEO and a minority shareholder. Christian Schierbaum, CEO of Hero Group, said, “This acquisition continues our strategy to expand our snack business and enter regions with high snack penetration. “From this acquisition, we will be present in a new business front that grows every year, in full line with the global strategy of the Hero group.
