I am so distraught over the loss of my friend Nemer Ziyad. Nemer was such an important leader in the American Arab community. I don’t feel i have done enough to memorialize his significant contributions to strengthen the Arab American community. His passing is one of the most significant setbacks for the Arab American community not just in Chicagoland but in the nation. There is a huge vid in our community as a result of his passing. Good bless you Nemer. You are missed. I need to do more to document your life contributions to our world, Nemer. I will work harder to do that.
