At a 3:30 p.m. special meeting Sept. 23, the Henrico Board of Supervisors will give an update on the Comprehensive Plan, which sets the county’s vision for 2045. The plan is expected to focus on improvements for pedestrians and bicyclists, and other new ways to utilize land. The county’s current Comprehensive Plan, Vision 2026, was adopted back in 2009. At Tuesday’s 6 p.m. regular meeting, the board will also vote on several amendments to the Annual Fiscal Plan for FY 2025-2026, which would reappropriate about $10 million for paving improvement projects. The amendments would also appropriate about $20 million in new funding for several projects.
