CHARLOTTE, NC — James Godfrey feels forgotten by Charlotte city officials after he was attacked on a CATS bus six months ago. Video released by CATS shows Godfrey thrown to the ground and kicked repeatedly. When it ended, Godfrey laid on the ground while the bus driver continued her route. “I hear him tell me that he wakes up with tears,” continued Adams, “he didn’t deserve that over a bookbag. You know, how many more is it going to take,” Adams said of the victims on CATS transportation.
