<p>Goodman Masson are working with a life insurer in the North, who are seeking to hire an Actuary with ambition and hunger to join their successful business. This is a broad and highly commercial role which requires strong interpersonal skills. You may have given up exams or be slowly progressing with them, you do not need to be fully qualified to be considered.</p> <p>You should have had several years of actuarial experience, to have the maturity to work in this fast-paced environment with senior stakeholder interface and some supervision (growing into management) responsibilities. This requires someone who can undertake cash flow projections in the market looking at interest rates, roll-up loans and discount them. There will be a mortality angle to this role which will give you exposure to pricing, product development and other projects/ad hoc work.
