This brings Claret’s total assets under management to more than $1bn, reinforcing its position in the growth lending sector. Claret Capital Partners (Claret), Europe’s largest independent growth debt fund manager, has announced the second close of its Fund IV, bringing the current figure to more than €350m and its total assets under management to more than $1bn (€852bn). Since March of this year, the company has added 12 new organisations to the Fund IV portfolio, including Fund Recs, Mindler, Montonio, ValueBlue and Yseop. Fund IV has secured commitments from Spanish investment bank and financial services company Banca March, British Business Bank, the European Investment Fund (EIF), the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and Wachstumsfonds Deutschland, among others. In addition to this second close, a number of Fund IV limited partners (LPs) have established separate co-investment deals of more than €115m, to allow for investment in ambitious organisations and to give Claret additional power to support new opportunities.
