Textron Aviation is to offer Elon Musk’s Starlink internet service as a new connectivity option on its Cessna Citation Latitude aircraft, further broadening Wi-Fi connectivity across its midsize jets.
The announcement comes after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved AeroMech’s Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Starlink’s high-speed internet service, the company confirmed in a statement on September 18, 2025.
“With Starlink connectivity now available as an upgrade, Citation Latitude customers can enjoy a seamless, high-speed in-flight experience that keeps them connected in more of the places they fly,” said Brian Rohloff, Senior Vice President of Customer Support at Textron Aviation.
In July 2025, Textron Aviation announced that Starlink was being equipped to its Cessna Citation Sovereign and Sovereign+ aircraft.
However, Starlink service has experienced occasional disruptions recently.
