Deutsche Aircraft and Vaeridion announced on September 23, 2025, that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support each other in the development of their respective sustainable aircraft programs. Deutsche Aircraft is developing the Do328eco, a low-emissions regional turboprop for up to 40 passengers based on the Dornier 328 platform. In turn, Vaeridion is working on a clean-sheet all-electric aircraft for up to nine seats, called Microliner. Deutsche Aircraft will share its expertise in structural design, industrial processes, and testing. This collaboration will be facilitated by the recent Vaeridion’s recent acquisition of an industrial facility at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport (OBF) near Munich, where Deutsche Aircraft is also based.
