The team have been delivering energy advice and support to residents through the charity's Safe and Warm with Sue Ryder partnership with energy network SGN. Gabriella Pricop, manager of the Oxford Road shop, said: "Our Sue Ryder shop sits at the heart of our community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for the role we’ve played in helping local people. The Reading shop is one of five to be commended by the palliative and bereavement support charity, with more than 720 supportive conversations logged since the project began.
