Bridget Phillipson, the Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities, came to UTC Reading on Friday, September 19. According to UTC Reading, the purpose of the visit was for the Education Secretary to "explore" how the school prepares its students for careers in engineering, computer science, and other tech industries.
