Sharing the news on social media, the band wrote: “Tomas passed away this morning following complications related to his ongoing cancer treatment. Despite intensive medical efforts, his life could not be saved.”They added, “Tomas - You were an inspiration to us all. The band’s most recent album, The Nightmare Of Being, was released in 2021, although they’ve reportedly finished recording a yet-to-be-announced follow-up. Last month, Lindberg publicly revealed his cancer diagnosis but also told fans that he’d recorded vocals for the band’s upcoming album before he underwent mouth surgery.
