A woman was arrested Monday in Valencia, after she allegedly stole merchandise from a store and provided false information to deputies. When deputies arrived on scene and contacted the reported thief, she gave deputies a false identity and a false birth date, according to Picard. After deputies were able to positively identify the woman, they saw she had two prior convictions of theft, according to Picard.
