On average, schools can spend about 16 months in special measures but this can extend up to two years. In the newly-published Ofsted report, the inspectors said the school is "determined to improve" and the "renewed ambition is shared by all". Pupils value the wider opportunities that the school offers. They also made positive comments about the governing body as they are "checking that pupils needs are being met and beginning to hold the school to account effectively".
