But Councillor Peatfield hit back at the criticism and lauded officers’ efforts in bringing a wide range of events to the venue during a full council meeting last week. “That’s really unfair Councillor Care – we are four months into opening,” she responded. There’s been wrestling, there’s been Dream Fest there’s been Reggae Fest, there’s been the Osnabruck Beer Festival. There are at least eight new stalls being announced very soon.”At the meeting, Councillor Care told the council leader: “It doesn’t yet feel fit for the 21st century.
