Mr Paphitis said: "I am delighted to join the University of Derby. Mr Paphitis left Dragons' Den in 2012 but has made guest appearances since then in 2019 and 2021. Professor Mitchell said: "The opening of the Cavendish Building marks a defining moment. The university also recognised key supporters of the Cavendish Building, including the Duke of Devonshire’s Charitable Trust and John Booth.
