The HGVs will be at Witney Lake and Country Park on Wednesday, September 24 delivering the goods at the northern side of the green space. It is in preparation of reinforcement work of some sections of the path which will help reduce flooding from the River Windrush. Witney Town Council advised locals that the footpath will be closed on Thursday, September 26 while the work is carried out.
