Lewis West, of Godfrey Close, Headington, Oxford, was found dead at Magdalen Wood West on June 30. An inquest was opened into the 45-year-old's death at Oxford Coroner's Court by senior coroner Darren Salter on July 9. A full inquest will be held at Oxford Coroner's Court at 2pm on October 2. On June 30, police officers were seen scouring the woodland off Atkyns Road in the Wood Farm area of Oxford. A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said at the time: "At around 8.50am this morning, officers were called by a member of the public to Woodland near Atkyns Road, Oxford, to reports of a deceased man.
