A judge at Grimsby Crown Court said Lewis Jones, 39, had the discipline to play rugby at a high level but had shown none of that when he broke his victim's eye socket. ‌Construction firm owner, Lewis Jones, of Church Street, Hibaldstow admitted grievous bodily harm on a man he followed into the toilets at the village War Memorial Club on April 9, 2023. He did not know how many times he was punched but he was kneed a number of times in his body. Emergency services were called and the victim was treated at Hull Royal Infirmary oral maxillofacial department for a fractured eye socket and bruising and swelling.
