Located at Fife Council's Halbeath depot, the £360,000 hub will monitor flats across Fife, including the Broomhead flats in Dunfermline. Councillor Altany Craik said: "The new hub means we are now able to deliver a 24/7 service to our tenants and residents using the latest technology. Fife Council housing staff will work in shifts to provide round-the-clock monitoring at the centralised hub. They will also carry out regular foot patrols during evenings, weekends, and overnight hours to address issues as they arise. "The CCTV footage will also help us investigate reports of vandalism, anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping and keep areas safe."
