Parents raised the alarm and local councillor Brian Goodall contacted the authorities after witnessing cars and vans being driven way too fast on the streets outside Park Road Primary.
He said: "I’d had several complaints about some very poor parking and speeding around the school at drop off and pick up times since the start of the new school term.
"The speeding at these times on Middlebank Street, Park Road and Harley Street is extremely concerning with the poor parking around the school making the situation even more dangerous.
"The parking enforcement team immediately confirmed that parking patrols in the area will be added to their schedule as soon as is possible.
"We continue to work with our local authority partners on the matter and where necessary, appropriate action will be taken.”Fife Council said they'll work with Park Road PS to develop a school travel plan to encourage walking, cycling and scooting to school.
