AYT Foods sits on Dunfermline’s Bridge Street, and was started back in 2023 when Nigerian founder Temitope Ajayi-Salami became tired of traveling to Glasgow for her native cuisine.
Her hard work paid off on September 11 when AYT won Consumer Products Start-Up of the Year at the 2025 UK National StartUp Awards.
Ms Ajayi-Salami said: “Winning this award on a national stage is a deeply emotional and proud moment for me and the entire AYT Foods family.
Ms Ajayi-Salami continued: “This recognition validates every late night, every risk, and every dream we dared to pursue.
We’re just getting started, and this win gives us even more fuel to grow, serve, and expand our impact across the UK.”
