White paint was "incorrectly" added at the junction of Linton Place and Sherbrooke Road and will now have to be "burnt off". And the council have also stated that recent resurfacing works in the estate have led to the speed bumps becoming "ineffectual". It said: "The service's external contractor incorrectly reinstated the junction at Linton Place / Sherbrooke Road. Fife Council said the junction markings should be where the red line is and the contractor mistakenly reinstated where the blue line is.
