The health board was told to apologise after a complaint to the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman was upheld. A family member was unhappy about the nursing care provided to their late parent whilst in hospital, citing a lack of adherence to infection control, poor staff attitude and breaches of uniform policy. "The board were unable to evidence basic nursing care in A’s case due to poor documentation. NHS Fife was told to apologise to the complainant "for the failings identified" in the report.
