Two Downriver League boys’ tennis teams heading in opposite directions as of late shared the courts on Tuesday when Wyandotte Roosevelt traveled to Brownstown Woodhaven. The most of recent of which was a close 5-3 loss vs league-leading Southgate Anderson back on Sept 18. Meanwhile, an undermanned Woodhaven team came in playing some of its best tennis of the fall, having won each of their last three duals including a victory over Dearborn Edsel Ford last week. Both respective trends ultimately came to an end as the Bears from Roosevelt bounced back in a big way with a 7-1 meet win over the host Warriors. Photo gallery is courtesy of Alexander Muller.
