RAPID CITY, S.D. — A Rapid City woman is facing her second DUI charge after police say she crashed her SUV into the side of a police precinct on the city's southwest side early Sunday morning. The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Rapid City Police Department’s Southwest Police Precinct at the corner of Catron Boulevard and Sheridan Lake Road. It then went over a curb and down a small embankment before slamming into the precinct building, causing extensive damage. The driver was identified as 36-year-old Kelsey Herrald of Rapid City and was thrown from the vehicle before it struck the building.
