OSAKIS — In August, FAST Global Solutions hosted an educator through the Teacher Externship Program, a statewide initiative connecting Minnesota teachers with hands-on experiences in the industries shaping our communities. Kyle Kostrzewski, a shop teacher from Osakis Public Schools, joined FAST for a week-long externship to better understand the wide array of career opportunities available to students in the trades, engineering, and technical fields. The Teacher Externship Program connects teachers to the skills and knowledge employers expect of future employees. By hosting an extern, FAST is investing in the future workforce. “By opening our doors to educators, we’re not just showcasing what we build — we’re helping build the future workforce” Mike Hartwell, HR director at FAST Global Solutions, said in a press release.
