A new initiative pieced together by the National Quilt Museum, along with professors at Murray State University, is using the fiber arts to teach K-12 students about geometry and other mathematical principles. NQM director of learning and engagement Becky Glasby agreed, saying that math and art often – unexpectedly – go hand-in-hand.
