Hudson County hosted their 4th Annual Strides for Safety 5k Against Gun Violence at Lincoln Park on Saturday, boasting over 500 participants. Almost every day, there’s a new shooting in the news – another family mourning and communities in fear of facing this kind of violence themselves,” Hudson County Executive Craig Guy said in a statement. “The Strides for Safety 5K is dedicated to putting this issue front and center and ending this senseless violence. In the world we are currently living in, we must make clear that violence of any kind – especially political violence – has no place in Hudson County and in our country.
