For the Indian Cooperative team, witnessing several cooperatives holding their respective AGMs simultaneously was nothing short of remarkable. Invited by veteran cooperator Dileep Sanghani, the team was impressed by the seamless conduct of multiple AGMs at the newly acquired, sprawling campus of Amar Dairy. The Annual General Meetings of four key cooperative institutions of Amreli district—Amreli District Cooperative Union, Amreli District Central Cooperative Bank, AMR Dairy, and Amreli District Cooperative Purchase & Sale Union—were conducted alongside several service and credit societies. Addressing the gathering, Patel lauded the cooperative growth of the district and encouraged farmers to embrace the “local for vocal” initiative.
