High school students at Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School participated in the wild rice season by attending Rice Camp at Mud/Goose Lake.
In addition to going ricing and fishing, students took turns at stations related to manoomin (wild rice) in the areas of science, math, cooking and tools.
The Leech Lake Division of Resource Management was also involved in the Rice Camp event.
