Two people were killed in a fire in an apartment building in Portland, Maine, early Sunday morning. Around 2:17 a.m. Sunday, the Portland Fire Department responded to a fire in a three-story, four unit apartment building at 43 St. Lawrence St., according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Investigators from the state fire marshal's office are working with Portland fire and police to determine the cause of the fire.
