Plants and Prizes: Laker Prep Early Childhood Center of Detroit Lakes is partnering with the Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary Club and Lakeside Tavern to present the 2nd Annual Plants and Prizes fundraiser. Detroit Lakes Oktoberfest: The Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary Club will be presenting its 3rd Annual Oktoberfest celebration at Zorbaz and nearby Peoples Park in Detroit Lakes (new location this year). DLUMC Meatball Supper: The congregation of Detroit Lakes United Methodist Church will host its annual meatball supper at 885 Pembina Trail, Detroit Lakes. For those living outside the Detroit Lakes area, the satellite transfer station at 23330 Co. Hwy. Lakes Area Farmers Market: The Lakes Area Farmers Market will be open every Tuesday and Saturday through October in Detroit Lakes' Peoples Park (just north of Zorbaz), from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. each day.
