ST. PAUL — This week marks 100 days until Minnesota’s new Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) law takes effect, and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce is urging employers to prepare for the significant administrative and financial requirements the program will bring. “This program will touch nearly every employer and employee in Minnesota,” said Laura Bordelon, senior vice president of advocacy at the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. “Businesses face new administrative responsibilities and costs at a time when many are already struggling with workforce shortages and economic pressures.
