Megan Price, 18, of Oulton Place, was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison on Thursday, September 18, but it was suspended for 12 months.
She had previously admitted possession of a knife in a public place at Chester Magistrates Court on August 19 this year.
OTHER NEWS:Officers arrested the pair at Chester Railway Station, where Price was found in possession of the knife.
According to court documents, Price’s sentence was suspended because of a ‘likely prospect of rehabilitation’ and a lack of previous convictions plus an early guilty plea.
Co-defendant Spencer was fined £276 plus a surcharge of £110, and court costs of £85 for the offence on the train when he also pleaded guilty on August 19.
