Cheshire West and Chester Council is once again marking Fairtrade Fortnight, which this year runs from September 22 to October 5. The 2025 theme, Do It Fair, encourages people to choose Fairtrade products and advocate for a more just trading system. There are now around 5,000 Fairtrade products available in the UK, and all major retailers and many brands use Fairtrade-certified ingredients. Fairtrade Fortnight was moved to September last year to mark the 30th anniversary of Fairtrade products arriving in UK stores.
