Callum Galland, 26, of Birch Road, pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, September 23, to driving a motor vehicle dangerously. Heather Bell, prosecuting, told the court that on June 18 this year, a patrol police officer witnessed the defendant riding his Yamaha bike in Cliveden Road. He was seen riding the bike at 47mph, more than twice the legal 20mph limit as it was in a built-up area and near a school. “He was observed driving at that speed and also overtaking vehicles and weaving in and out of speed bumps.”Appearing unrepresented, Galland said his behaviour was ‘stupid’. He added: “I know I’ve done wrong, I know I shouldn’t have done it and it was wrong.
