A man is accused of exposing himself near a playground where young children were playing in Walpole, Massachusetts, on Monday. Matthew Springer, 24, of Walpole, was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness, disorderly conduct, and interfering with a police officer, Walpole police confirmed Monday. Witnesses told police they spotted a man exposing himself near the playground around 9 a.m. One witness yelled at and chased after the man, who ran away after being confronted. The witnesses lost sight of the man, but a patrol officer spotted the suspect in a car.
