All lanes were temporarily closed on Interstate 495 south in Raynham on Tuesday morning due to a rollover crash and fuel spill, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said. In an email around 8:30 a.m., MassDOT said I-495 south was closed at mile marker 17.2 in Raynham. The Raynham Fire Department said a heavy duty dump truck filled with gravel overturned in the median of I-495 south around 8 a.m., causing a fuel spill. Fire officials said a major cleanup of the gravel, hydraulic fluids and diesel fuel that spilled is ongoing and firefighters remain at the scene to assist.
