A pedestrian was struck and killed by at least one vehicle while attempting to cross Interstate 95 in Providence, Rhode Island, on Monday night. Rhode Island State Police said they responded to a report of a pedestrian who had been struck on I-95 north in the area of Point Street in Providence around 9:15 p.m. Monday. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREWhen they arrived state troopers found the pedestrian in the high-speed lane. The person was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Providence Fire Department. Investigators did not say if the pedestrian was struck by just one or both of the vehicles.
